Mark Bacong is the Project Manager of Dream Opportunity, where he oversees projects and initiatives across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals, policies, and quality standards. Since joining Dream Opportunity, he has established standard operating procedures, introduced project management tools, and driven process improvements that strengthen efficiency and accountability across the organization.

His leadership scope includes cross-departmental coordination, project prioritization, change management, and ensuring that deliverables meet the standards required for Dream Opportunity partnerships and programs. He supports major events, workshops, and university partnerships by confirming that materials, hosts, and logistics pass defined quality checks, enabling leaders and speakers to deliver impactful experiences for students and partners.

Key contributions include formalizing intake and handoff processes, clarifying timelines and ownership across teams, and introducing review checkpoints that improve on-time delivery and consistency of outputs aligned to DO’s mission.

Relevant Experiences Prior to Dream Opportunity

Before joining Dream Opportunity, Mark managed large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects across the Philippines that delivered reliable electricity to underserved and remote communities. These initiatives supported sustainable development by improving access to essential services for schools, families, and local economies.

In these roles, he coordinated multidisciplinary teams and vendors, upheld safety and quality standards, and ensured schedule and budget discipline. The systems mindset and stakeholder management skills he developed now help advance Dream Opportunity’s mission of empowering students worldwide.
