Geraldine Cortez is the University Client Manager at Dream Opportunity. Since joining in 2024, she has designed and managed career pathways for under-resourced youth by partnering with universities, youth organizations and multinational corporations. In her role, Geraldine develops early career pipelines, professional development sessions, and career exposure opportunities that prepare students for long-term success.

Talent Acquisition & Professional Development

Geraldine has strengthened partnerships with universities, youth organizations, and industry leaders, coordinating both virtual and in-person development events. She has developed and led prep sessions on applications, resume writing, interview simulations, leadership, and workplace readiness. Internally, she enhanced hiring processes to improve candidate quality and reduce turnaround time, ensuring programs deliver strong outcomes for both students and partners.

Education

• Began her career in provincial government before transitioning to the nonprofit and impact sector, where she has served as a Program Specialist, Executive Director, and board member.

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (2014), Cum Laude & Presidential Journalism Awardee
